Position: Senior Manager - Quality Company: Location: Aurangabad, Maharashtra Industry: Automobile (3 Wheelers) Experience: 10+ years Department: Quality .Job Overview We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Manager - Quality to join our team at Nahars Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. (Laxmi Group), a renowned name in the automobile industry. The Senior Manager - Quality will oversee the entire quality function within the organization and ensure that products meet stringent quality standards. This position requires a deep understanding of quality systems in the automobile sector, specifically in paint shop and weld shop operations. Key Responsibilities 1.  Quality Assurance and Control: Oversee the quality assurance activities within the paint and weld shops for 3-wheeler manufacturing. Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and company-specific guidelines. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product quality. 2.  Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead initiatives to improve product quality and reduce waste. Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen practices to drive continuous improvement. 3.  Quality Audits: Skills and Qualifications Laxmi Group laxmigroup.net.in https://www.laxmigroup.net.in Conduct internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Lead and coordinate ISO/TS quality management system implementation and audits. 4.  Supplier Quality Management: Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming raw materials and components. Conduct supplier audits and resolve any quality-related issues with vendors. 5.  Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the quality team to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure quality is embedded in every phase of the production process. 6.  Training and Development: Provide training to the quality team and other employees on best practices in quality management. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the team is always well-informed. 7.  Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, audits, and corrective actions. Ensure that all quality documents and records are maintained in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Experience: 10+ years in quality management in the automobile industry, with a focus on paint shop and weld shop operations. Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS), ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and related industry standards. Tools and Techniques: Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, and 8D reporting. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in English and Marathi. Qualification: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
