Job role: Senior IT Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Role reporting into: IT Manager

Job Responsibilities:

● Monitoring and responding to system, application events/incidents/alerts raised by the

Business, End Users

● Configuring and installing various Operating Systems – Windows, MAC, Linux

● Performing end user system maintenance and system upgrades including service packs,

patches, hot fixes and security configurations

● Configure, maintain and troubleshoot OneLogin Cloud Identity System

● Google Workspace (G-Suite) – Administration (Users, Groups, Mail Routing)

● MS O365 – Administration (Users, Groups, Mail Routing)

● Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability

● Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning

● Provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues

● Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure

awareness, approval and success of changes made to the system infrastructure

● Select and implement system tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the

company’s IT-Infra teams

● Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel, Business Teams for problem resolution, RCA

Job Requirements:

Ideally a person should have the following experiences / possess the abilities below to succeed in

this role:

● 5+ years of experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting Operating Systems:

Windows, MAC, Linux (L2 or Above)

● Experience with SSO, SAML, Identity Solutions like OneLogin, Azure AD, Okta

● Proven hands-on system engineering experience

● Deep understanding of system administration, OS Hardening, patching methodologies

● Hands-on experience with monitoring, system diagnostic and system analytics tools

● University degree in Computer Science or a related subject

● Good learning ability to comprehend evolving networking design and adapt good practices to

suit the depth and breadth of technology platform(s)

● Good written and oral communication skills to enable effective coordination and

implementation across the organization and deliver security awareness trainings
