  • Design knowledge of MIG & MAG welding fixture and weld cell
  • Design knowledge of inspection gauge
  • Familiar with Solid works software and Auto CAD
  • BIW Product / Process Structure development
  • Weld Gun Selection / redesign, Weld points study and distribution check
  • Knowledge of weld simulation.
  • Knowledge of weld process and cycle time
  • Understanding the Manufacturing Process
  • Design Knowledge in Machining / Assembly Fixtures
  • Selection of tools and standard parts for Jig & Fixture Design
  • Design, Detailing and BOM Generation of Jig & Fixtures
  • Preparing Design Validation Documents, Clamp Validations
  • Selection of Materials and Heat Treatment Processes
  • Selection of Machining Process, Surface Finish
  • Selection of appropriate tolerances
