Job Description:

Key Responsibilities of an Housekeeping Executive: 

·         Supervision and Management:

Directing and supervising the housekeeping team, including scheduling, training, and evaluating staff performance. 

·         Quality Control:

Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards. 

·         Policy and Procedure Development:

Establishing and implementing housekeeping policies and procedures to optimize operations and maintain quality. 

·         Inventory Management:

Managing linen, cleaning supplies, and other housekeeping inventory to ensure sufficient stock and cost control. 

·         Communication and Coordination:

Working with other hotel departments (e.g., front office, maintenance) to coordinate services and address guest needs. 

·         Problem-Solving:

Resolving guest complaints and housekeeping issues promptly and effectively. 

·         Budgeting and Financial Management:

Developing and managing the housekeeping budget. 

·         Safety and Security:

Implementing and enforcing safety and security protocols within the housekeeping department. 

Skills and Qualifications:

·         Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

·         Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety procedures.

·         Ability to supervise, train, and motivate staff.

·         Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
