• Is familiar with the role of maintenance in securing the operational preconditions of production.
• Is able to locate faults caused by mechanical, electrical or control equipment failure utilising maintenance manuals, operational inspections and, when needed, measuring instruments.
• Is able to compile preventive maintenance, failure monitoring and operational inspection instructions utilising maintenance manuals and equipment documentation (maintenance DVD in modular laundries).

Is able to utilise help from external maintenance service providers/contractors if needed to solve problems or make repair work plans
