Position Overview: The Design Manager – Facade will lead the façade design department, overseeing the entire design process from concept to execution. The role requires a deep understanding of façade systems, materials, engineering principles, and coordination with project and production teams. Key Responsibilities:  Lead and manage the façade design team to deliver accurate, high-quality drawings and designs.  Develop detailed façade system designs, including aluminium, glass, steel, and cladding systems.  Review architectural drawings and provide technical input for design optimization and feasibility.  Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams for design approvals.  Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements.  Supervise design documentation, shop drawings, and fabrication details.  Provide technical support during project execution and resolve design-related issues.  Oversee the selection of materials and ensure design intent is met during manufacturing and installation.  Maintain strong coordination with the project management, estimation, and production departments.  Drive innovation in façade systems and adopt new technologies or materials. Required Skills and Qualifications:  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or Architecture.  15–18 years of experience in façade design, preferably with façade/glazing companies.  Strong knowledge of façade systems – curtain walls, ACP cladding, skylights, unitized systems, etc.  Expertise in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and structural analysis tools (e.g., Staad, ANSYS).  Excellent understanding of materials, structural behavior, and thermal/acoustic performance.  Strong leadership, communication, and project coordination skills.  Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
