Job Title: Assistant Manager – Engineering LocaƟon: Bhiwandi / Mumbai Reports to: Plant Head – Engineering & FaciliƟes Company: The Whole Truth Foods Purpose To ensure all producƟon and packaging machinery runs smoothly through strong prevenƟve maintenance systems, Ɵmely breakdown response, and data-driven improvement. This role will be the plant’s go-to person for reliability, efficiency, and technical problem-solving, enabling seamless producƟon and high equipment upƟme. Key ResponsibiliƟes ☼◦O Maintenance & Reliability • Execute and monitor prevenƟve and predicƟve maintenance for all producƟon and uƟlity equipment (extruders, blenders, cooling tunnels, packing lines, etc.). • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and automaƟon issues to minimize downƟme. • Maintain and update the maintenance tracker / CMMS, ensuring accuracy and Ɵmely PM compleƟon. • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for breakdowns and implement permanent correcƟve acƟons. Projects & Technical Support • Support the Plant Head in installaƟon and commissioning of new machines and line modificaƟons. • Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for AMC visits, spare part planning, and technical audits. • Drive energy efficiency, cost opƟmizaƟon, and process improvement iniƟaƟves. †_5— Compliance & Safety • Ensure all maintenance acƟviƟes adhere to safety, GMP, and statutory standards. • Maintain strong compliance with ISO, GMP, and FSSAI audit requirements. + Team Development • Lead and train technicians to build in-house capability and adherence to SOPs. • Foster a culture of ownership, conƟnuous learning, and proacƟve problem-solving. QualificaƟons & Experience • EducaƟon: B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering • Experience: 5–8 years in engineering/maintenance within FMCG or food manufacturing environments • Strong understanding of PLC-based systems, uƟliƟes, and automaƟon • Exposure to ISO, GMP, and FSSAI audit pracƟces What Success Looks Like • ⬛ 95% upƟme on key producƟon equipment • ⬛ Zero repeat breakdowns • ⬛ PrevenƟve maintenance adherence >90% • ⬛ High compliance and safety audit scores
