Job Summary:

The Last Mile Team Leader will be responsible for supervising and managing the daily delivery operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, team coordination, and adherence to company processes. The role involves people management, route planning, and ensuring service excellence at the last mile level.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise day-to-day last mile delivery operations at the hub.
2. Manage and monitor a team of delivery associates and riders to ensure on-time deliveries.
3. Plan and allocate delivery routes efficiently to optimize cost and time.
4. Track delivery performance, handle exceptions, RTOs, and escalations.
5. Maintain delivery KPIs – on-time delivery, accuracy, and productivity.
6. Ensure scanning, loading/unloading, and dispatch processes follow SOPs.
7. Coordinate with hub incharge, warehouse, and customer support teams.
8. Train, motivate, and monitor delivery staff for improved efficiency.
9. Maintain records, MIS, and ensure compliance with company standards.
10. Manage customer escalations and ensure service quality.

Key Skills & Competencies:

1. Strong understanding of last mile delivery operations.
2. Excellent team management and leadership skills.
3. Proficient in Excel, delivery tracking tools, or TMS systems.
4. Strong communication and coordination skills.
5. Problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.
6. Flexible and willing to work in rotational shifts if required.

Educational Qualification:

1. Graduate in any discipline (Preferred: Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management).
