Responsibilities

· Identify potential customers: Research and qualify new leads, and maintain contact with existing customers

· Build relationships: Maintain positive relationships with customers, and resolve complaints

· Educate customers: Educate customers on products and services, and help them find solutions to their needs

· Develop sales strategies: Develop sales strategies, and identify opportunities to improve sales performance

· Negotiate contracts: Negotiate contracts with clients

· Close sales: Close sales deals, and achieve sales targets

· Maintain records: Maintain records of sales leads, and prepare reports

· Collaborate with marketing: Collaborate with marketing to build brand and coordinate sales efforts

Skills and qualifications

· Excellent communication skills

· Strong understanding of the products they are selling

· Ability to listen actively, ask the right questions, and respond to objections

· Ability to build rapport with potential customers

· Ability to establish trust with customers

· Ability to maintain documentation of sales

Other responsibilities

· Monitor competition

· Keep up to date with industry trends

· Assist with determining schedule for pricing, quotes, and promotions
