● Prepare complex payroll taxes, with ability for general numbers crunching ● Reviews appropriate customer payroll federal, state, and local tax filings for completeness ● Conduct, manage, negotiate, and settle tax audits for both federal and state taxes ● Review tax information supplied by client, may meet with, or call client with questions ● Provide excellent customer service to both customers and internal support team ● Provide tax and accounting guidance and support for internal support team ● Recognizes, anticipates, and resolves tax issues, makes recommendations ● Meet productivity and efficiently standards ● Ensures disbursement of direct deposit funds authorized, complete and accurate through creation and verification of ACH files ● Responsible for tax escrow, direct deposit and trust funds accounted for and reconciled ● Tax information is reviewed and approved for new clients and/or conversion ● Perform analysis of operations monthly ● Stay up to date with Federal, State and Local payroll tax law changes ● Billing accounts receivable
