Position Overview: Muthoot Finance is seeking an experienced Cluster Collection Manager to oversee and manage collection operations across multiple branches in the Ahmedabad region. This role involves ensuring efficient collection processes, reducing delinquency rates, and leading a team of collection agents. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing collections in the financial services sector, with strong leadership skills and the ability to drive performance across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the collection operations for a cluster of branches within Ahmedabad.
Develop strategies to optimize the collection process, reduce delinquency, and improve recovery rates.
Lead, mentor, and train collection teams across various branches to meet their collection targets.
Monitor and analyze collections data, identify trends, and take corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies in the collection process.
Work closely with the legal team for handling recovery cases and legal escalations.
Foster positive relationships with customers, resolving disputes and addressing grievances to ensure smooth collection processes.
Prepare and present detailed collection reports and performance metrics to senior management.
Implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize defaults and improve loan recovery.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in collections, with at least 2 years in a managerial role overseeing multiple branches or clusters.
Strong understanding of loan recovery processes, legal frameworks, and collection techniques.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proven ability to handle complex and escalated collection cases effectively.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and financial software tools.
Ability to manage large teams across multiple locations and ensure performance alignment.
