The tasks a Tool Room Operator is expected to perform include: Manufacturing and assembling tools and dies. Fitting the tools and dies at the customer end.Preparing the machine, auxiliary apparatus and metal work pieces responsibilities include working to maintain equipment, document new purchases and repairs, and source any additional tools that staff might need to complete a project. In addition to tools and equipment, you may also be responsible for maintaining an inventory of consumables.
