Duties and responsibilities:
Leadership
1. Take reporting of cross functional teams and solve day to day issues of production and production
related teams.
2. Manage direct reports and their activities. This includes overall performance management; training
and development; analyzing and resolving work problems; and discipline. Lead team to achieve
goals; promote and demonstrate effective communication and positive culture, etc
3. Engage in special projects as and when needed.
Accounts - budget management
1. Manage budgets and forecasts
2. Monitor operation and maintenance expenses and research ways to reduce cost while maintaining
product quality and prevent downtime
3. Monitor manufacturing expenditures and reports variances to the Plant head on a monthly basis.
Responsible for gross margin percentages.
HR
1. Recruit, train and supervise staff
2. Create the HR plan along with HR team and get the same Implemented relating to recruitments,
KRAs, compensation, etc.
3. Labour management
Maintenance
1. Oversee the maintenance team and ensure all machines have 99% uptime. Troubleshoot matters
related to vendors, parts etc. as and where necessary.
2. Support MM team to provide downtime and make necessary approvals.
Security
1. Create, implement and monitor security plans related to plant, material and equipment. Ensure
enough precaution has been taken to avoid any kind of pilferage and create controls and processes
where needed. Monitor the plant by CCTV and walking the plant regularly.
Stores and inventory management
1. Create ideal stock levels at all times in the store and take direct reporting of store team to ensure
safety stock orders, indents and others parameters are always under control.
Order processing (BOM and Prod Order) and supply chain coordination
1. Manage the Order processing team and ensure BOMs and Productions orders are being created in
their respective TAT. Solve and escalate of the order processing team where required.
Project Management and Facility planning
1. Lead and manage all civil, electrical, plumbing etc. works that are required for production and non-
production areas.
2. Coordinate with contractors to ensure all activities are closed within a time and budget
MIS and Asana (Task management)
1. Generate all required daily, weekly and monthly reports to management
2. Follow up diligently on all tasks of the factory and be a task master.
Contractor Admin (Later)
1. Contractor rate and bill management. Negotiation
Liasoning
1. Maintain a positive working relationship with regulatory agencies and local government authorities
2. Ensure all legal compliances
Enforcing quality management
1. Works closely with quality control personnel to review product consistency and appearance to
produce products that meet or exceed company standards and consumer expectations.
Production
1. Dotted line reported of production team to be maintained and ensure they have full support at all
times to reach their targets.
2. Raise red flags about production issues to plant head as and when required.
