Job Description: Collection Manager Company: Muthoot Finance Locations: Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Indore, Mumbai Experience Required: 3+ years Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Collection Manager to oversee and manage the collection operations for Muthoot Finance in the specified locations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing collections, ensuring timely repayments, and minimizing defaults. The role involves working closely with teams, analyzing delinquency trends, and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency of the collection process. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end collection process for loans and financial products in the assigned regions. Develop and implement strategies for timely collections, reducing delinquency rates. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies during the collection process. Monitor and track loan accounts, identify potential defaults, and take proactive measures to minimize risks. Coordinate with legal teams for recovery processes in case of default. Build and maintain relationships with customers to encourage timely payments. Prepare regular reports on collection activities, trends, and performance metrics for senior management. Lead and train collection staff to ensure they meet targets and follow best practices. Resolve escalated collection issues and disputes with customers professionally and effectively. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in collections, preferably in financial services or NBFCs. Strong understanding of loan recovery, collection methods, and legal frameworks. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
