Job Description:

1. Ability to design Fashion Graphics on CAD using Photoshop or Coral Draw.

 2. Excellent sketching skills, computer skills like paint, coral draw, etc.

 3. Strong ability to create samples of approved sketches for infants to pre-teens.

 4. Understand the market skills by detailed study of latest trends, forecasts, competitor product analysis, prevailing prices, distributors input, retailer’s input and customer feedbacks.

 5. Closely monitor the up to date emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes.

 6. Creating and visualizing ideas and producing design by hand or using computer aided design (CAD).

 7. Forecasting samples for next season, taking care of designing catalogs, labels, packings, tags, photoshoots for product.

 8. Sourcing, selecting, and buying fabric trims, fastening and embellishments needed for sampling and assuring on time delivery of the product.

 9. Keep a check on new vendors for accessories, trims, metal fittings and fabrics for the next season and for current season flash collection.

 10. Develop sample garments to avoid errors and plan product ranges in conjunction with the buyer, analysts, stores, suppliers and distributors.

 11. Co-ordinate with sampling, printing, washing, embroidery finishing department for efficient flow of sampling work.

 12. Work closely with cross functional teams such as pattern makers, sample sewers, and graphic designers to bring your designs to life.

 13. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that effectively showcase the kid’s wear collection.

 14. Review feedbacks and make necessary adjustments to achieve the desired fit, aesthetic and functionality.
