We seek a skilled and enthusiastic Commi 1 (Junior Chef) to join our premium dining kitchen team,
focusing on live cooking stations.
Key Responsibilities:
Live Cooking:
1. Prepare and cook menu items at live cooking stations.
2. Ensure dishes are presented to highest standards.
3. Interact with guests, providing exceptional culinary experiences.
Kitchen Operations:
1. Assist senior chefs in kitchen operations.
2. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards.
3. Follow HACCP guidelines.
Menu Knowledge:
1. Familiarize yourself with menu, ingredients, and preparation methods.
2. Assist in menu planning and development.
Team Collaboration:
1. Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
2. Support senior chefs in managing kitchen operations.
Requirements:
Education:
diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- 1+ year in a premium dining kitchen or live cooking environment.
Skills:
- Excellent cooking, knife, and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, safety, and hygiene.
- Ability to work under pressure.
