Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead QA Engineer to drive our software testing automation efforts. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by leading the testing process, designing robust automation frameworks, and mentoring the QA team.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Test Strategy & Planning:

o    Define and implement comprehensive QA strategies for automation.

o    Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and establish testing objectives.

2.    Automation Frameworks:

o    Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks.

o    Evaluate and integrate automation tools and technologies suitable for the organization.

3.    Test Execution & Reporting:

o    Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.

o    Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with development teams for resolution.

4.    Team Leadership:

o    Lead, mentor, and support junior QA engineers.

o    Promote best practices in testing and automation across the team.

5.    Continuous Improvement:

o    Continuously monitor and improve QA processes to align with industry standards.

o    Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and automation.

6.    Collaboration:

o    Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

o    Act as the primary point of contact for all QA-related activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·  Experience: 5+ years in QA, with a focus on automation testing and at least 3 years in a lead role.

·  Education: B.Tech (Computer Science)

·  Technical Skills:

o    Strong knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).

o    Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).

o    Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git).

·  Methodologies: Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

·  Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Experience in testing APIs and microservices (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).

·  Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

ISTQB or other relevant certifications
