Position: Mechanical Draughtsman
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Drawing: Create detailed mechanical designs and drawings for pressure vessels, including the layout, supports, and internal components.
Pressure Vessel Knowledge: Develop and modify drawings for pressure vessels, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client specifications.
Internal Supports: Design and draft detailed internal supports for pressure vessels, considering both functional and safety requirements.
Stainless Steel Fabrication Drawings: Develop fabrication drawings for stainless steel structures, ensuring high precision and quality control.
Piping and Fittings: Create and update drawings for piping layouts, fittings, and related systems. Ensure that all designs are in compliance with industry standards.
3D Design Software: Utilize 3D CAD software to design, visualize, and model mechanical systems and structures for manufacturing and fabrication.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and other departments to ensure design feasibility, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of projects.
Quality Control: Ensure that all drawings adhere to Finepac’s quality standards, industry codes, and client specifications.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical drafting, particularly in pressure vessels, stainless steel fabrication, and piping design.
Technical Expertise:
o Strong knowledge of designing and drafting pressure vessels, including internal supports.
o Proficient in creating stainless steel fabrication drawings and understanding material properties.
o Expertise in designing piping systems and fittings.
o Advanced knowledge of 3D design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools).
Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Draftsmanship.
Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other 3D design software.
Attention to Detail: Ability to create accurate and detailed drawings while ensuring that designs meet regulatory and industry standards.
Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills to work in a cross-functional team and communicate effectively with engineers and project managers
