As a business development manager, you'll need to;
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
- Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients/ Team Members
- With a primary responsibility of supporting the CEO, provide support to the executive team as directed to ensure that organization goals and objectives are accomplished, and operations run efficiently
- Documentation - Recording the minutes of the meeting with clear emphasis on the key action points from the meeting. Maintaining the project database and eRoom to ensure all documentations are captured and organized for ease of access.
- Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
- Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
- Draw up client contracts - depending on the size of the company, this task may be completed by someone else or agreements may not be as formal
- Has an attention to detail, high accountability, and maintains utmost level of confidentiality.
