Job Description:

1. Design Leadership & Strategy  Define the design vision and strategy aligned with client and project requirements.  Guide the design team in producing innovative, technically sound, and aesthetically appealing façade designs.  Review and approve high-impact design decisions, including material and dimensional changes. 2. Budgeting & Resource Planning  Analyze Client Design Specifications (CDS) to estimate design manhours and resources.  Provide manhour estimates to the estimation team for pre-order and execution stages.  Monitor actual manhour consumption vs. budget, flag deviations, and propose corrective actions.  Continuously update resource plans based on project changes or scope expansions. 3. Pre-Order Design Management  Attend project kick-off meetings to understand client objectives.  Support sales team in client presentations and technical discussions.  Lead preparation of concept designs, mock-ups, BOQs, preliminary MTOs.  Ensure timely and accurate delivery of design decks and respond to client design queries. 4. Execution Stage Design Oversight  Review finalised CDS and Work Orders and plan the design execution accordingly.  Validate and approve shop drawings, fabrication drawings, MTOs, cutting lists, and technical submissions.  Ensure QA/QC standards are met and coordinate with site teams to resolve design-related issues.  Manage timely approvals from clients and consultants for various design stages. 5. Design Consultant Management  Recommend and onboard suitable design consultants based on project needs.  Define scope, deliverables, and timelines for external consultants.  Review consultant outputs and coordinate their engagement in key client meetings.  Track consultant performance, escalate issues, and ensure compliance with project standards and deadlines
