Roles and responsibilities

1. Credit Underwriting 

• Credit Assessment
• Review and analyse Personal loan applications to determine the creditworthiness of
• Assess financial statements, credit reports, cash flow projections, and other relevant documents to evaluate the applicant's ability to repay the loan.
• Utilize credit scoring models and loan strategies to make informed credit
  
  2. Risk Analysis: 

• Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with each loan
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and recommend appropriate terms and conditions for approved
• Monitor and manage credit exposure, ensuring alignment with the organization's risk
• Make informed and timely decisions regarding loan approvals, declines, and counter-offers.
• Collaborate with risk, tech teams to present and justify credit decisions, tech bugs
  
  3. Continuous Improvement: 

• Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit risk
• Propose process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of credit assessment
  
  4. Reporting: 

• Prepare regular reports on credit portfolio performance, delinquencies, and risk exposure for management

Desired Candidate Profile: 

• 1-2 Years of experience
• Underwriter, Secured/unsecured loans, Excel, Basic SQL
• Experience in developing lending, customer acquisitions and portfolio management strategies
