Key Responsibilities -
● Inventory Management: provide quantitative and qualitative sales analyses to accurately project demand for future sales
● Collaborate with the Lead Buyer and warehouse staff to ensure projected demand and inventory needs are met diligently
● Ensure optimal inventory allocation and replenishment across fulfillment centers to meet business
targets and achieve high inventory performance and sell-through rates
● Conduct strategic planning of all inbound and outbound shipments
● Manage logistical partner relationships
● In tandem with inventory forecasting, project demand for resourcing and communicate needs to CEO
● Maintain detailed oversight of inventory and supplies usage and storage to ensure high in stock-rate
● File claims promptly to secure reimbursements from Amazon for shipment and inventory losses
● Liaise with Seller Central to problem solve any challenges and ensure smooth operations
● Work closely with warehouse manager, including provision of daily instructions and targets while
motivating and supporting the team on the ground
● Facilitate quarterly inventory count / stock take and accurate inventory valuation and true-up
● Ensure all Amazon USA marketplace compliance requirements are met with rigor and diligence, e.g. FBA Inventory Performance Index, etc.
● Manage Operations Associate
● Lead the optimization of overall business processes
Requirements -
● At least 5+ experience in a relevant e commerce, operations or logistics role
● Available to work US EST hours, typically from 9:00am to 4:00pm EST
● Deep knowledge of and experience with Amazon Seller Central
● High proficiency with Google Sheets, Excel, as well as Project Management Tools (Clickup preferred)
● Knowledge of 3rd-party applications to support sales on Amazon, including but not limited to Keepa,
AnalyzerTools, Helium10, etc.
● Collaborative mindset with ability to receive and communicate feedback in a non-hierarchical,
American, small organization—this is a start-up type of environment
● Familiarity with the beauty and personal care niche, or other similar industries is optional but helpful.
