Qualifications/ Competencies:

• B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience in Java.
• 6+ years of experience with Open-Source tools (Spring, Hibernate, Apache, Maven, JUnit, etc.).
• 4+ years' experience with relational database development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling). Sybase experience preferred.
• Enthusiasm and flexibility to work independently or in a team environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

 Good to have:

• Experience with frameworks like Angular, React, Node.js, Typescript is a plus.
• Familiarity with at least one NoSQL Database (e.g., Apache Cassandra) and one scripting language (Perl/Python).
• Exposure to cloud-native development (Kubernetes, Docker), open-source publish-subscribe frameworks like Apache Kafka.
