Recruitment and Staffing:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for the plant, including workforce planning, job postings, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure staffing needs are met with qualified candidates.
Employee Relations:
- Handle employee grievances and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster a positive work environment by facilitating open communication between management and staff.
- Organize employee engagement activities and welfare programs to boost morale.
Compliance and Legal:
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, industrial relations regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, etc.).
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate the implementation of training programs.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the performance appraisal process, including setting performance goals and conducting evaluations.
- Support employee career development and succession planning initiatives.
Attendance and Payroll:
- Oversee timekeeping systems to ensure accurate attendance records.
- Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely payroll processing.
Health and Safety:
- Ensure a safe working environment by promoting safety policies and practices.
- Work with the safety officer to implement and monitor safety standards.
Administrative Functions:
- Manage day-to-day HR administrative tasks such as documentation, employee files, and correspondence.
- Assist in facility management and procurement related to employee needs.
Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular HR reports to senior management, including workforce analysis, attrition rates, and employee engagement metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and MS Office.
