Sales Target Achievement:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned area.
- Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions as needed to meet targets.
Market Development:
- Identify new sales opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new markets.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and trends in the FMCG sector.
- Expand the customer base by adding new distributors and retailers.
Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors, retailers, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring that terms and conditions are favorable for the company.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Sales Strategy Implementation:
- Execute sales and marketing plans to promote the company's products.
- Ensure product placement, visibility, and promotional activities are in line with company guidelines.
- Work closely with the marketing team to implement promotional activities and campaigns.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, market analysis, and competitor analysis.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure product availability.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Training and Development:
- Train and mentor sales representatives or junior staff within the assigned area.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in sales and marketing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the FMCG market, including key players, trends, and dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in managing key accounts and working with distributors.
