The candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of Procurement strategy for
both Commercial & Industrial and Residential projects, across the Country. The candidate is responsible
for end-to-end management and leading the supply chain team.
Location: Hyderabad
Reports to: GM - Operations
Compensation: 8-11 LPA
Travel: Moderate
Roles and responsibilities:
Efficient vendor management for equipment & services relating to Solar PV Projects
o City-State-wise mapping of all relevant vendors for different SKU’s.
o Negotiation of contractual & payment terms with vendors
o To scrutinize vendors based on various criteria, including but not limited to quality,
delivery capability & payment terms.
o Developing strategic relationship with vendors to develop better credit terms.
o Responsible for regular Updation of SKU prices on Freyr Energy in-house platform.
Development of Vendor evaluation, grading and engagement strategy to create pre-
qualified vendors for equipment and services relating to Solar PV Projects.
o Responsible for all the tasks from raising of PO’s to payment reconciliation for all vendors
Inventory & Warehouse Management
o Supervision of all warehouses Pan India
o Implementation of effective inventory management system at all warehouses
Team Management
o Lead the supply chain team in sync with their respective KRA’s / strategy of the company.
o Task Allocation & monitoring on regular basis.
o Provide support & training to team-members where required.
Support sales team in pre-sales costing and proposal preparation
Budgeting & Reporting against all individual projects.
Mandatory Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Minimum 7-8 years of experience with a stint in a similar role. Candidates with prior experience in
Solar will be preferred.
Strong communication & negotiation skills
To have basic knowledge of Zoho platform
To have good knowledge of accounts & budgeting skills
Proficient in MS Office (especially excel & word )
