Job Description:

 Duties & Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                                            

 

  • Receiving requests from the respective departments and analyzing and understanding the requirement
  • Allotting the requirement to the right consultant and advertising job availability through online channels and other media
  • Browsing social networking sites like LinkedIn, Naukri etc for suitable job profiles with required skills
  • Communicating by phone, email, and in person with job candidates to figure out things like availability and hiring timelines
  • Networking through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees
  • Interviewing potential job candidates
  • Performing other assessments of job candidates' skills, such as by giving a written test or hiring for a trial period, etc.
  • Reading resumes/CVs, job applications, and cover letters and creating a mental picture of the applicant
  • Judging applicants based on knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics
  • Reaching out to a number of applicants large enough to guarantee a more than satisfactory hire after interviewing
  • Recruiting candidates that mesh with the existing company culture
  • Recruiting candidates within a preset time frame for continued business productivity
  • Networking with industry professionals and employment agencies who may know suitable candidates
  • Writing offer letters and participating in negotiation over salary and job duties
  • Develop and track goals for the recruiting and hiring process

 

  • Handle administrative duties and recordkeeping

 

  • Collect data on cost per hire and time-to-hire

 

  • Screen applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
  • Work with hiring managers to create job descriptions
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Coordinates employee development and training programs, assisting in delivery of training and development and compliance training workshops, and conducting training and development needs assessments to enhance the effectiveness of work performance in achieving individual, departmental, and institutional goals
  • Leadership of New Employee Onboarding Program for non-faculty staff
  • Providing counsel to hiring manager’s/search committees regarding development of search timelines, tests,
  • Coordination and oversight of HR-led training and development
  • Preparing daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports

 

 

 

  Qualifications and Education Requirements                                                                                                                      

Should be a Graduate from a reputed college or University
