Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven track record as a Sales Manager or in a similar role within the domestic market, with exposure to the international market considered advantageous. Knowledge and past experience of groceries / spices
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, enabling the establishment of strong client relationships and successful deal closures.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret sales data. Self-motivated and results-driven, showcasing determination and accountability to achieve sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
  • Proficiency in English communication (written, verbal both) & in Microsoft Office suite.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy and business plan to drive revenue and profitability in both the domestic and international markets. Establish Zama Organics as the premier choice for our clients by effectively communicating the unique value proposition of our products.
  • Identify sales opportunities, generate leads, and engage potential clients through meticulous market research and networking.
  • Set annual sales targets and consistently devise innovative strategies and techniques to achieve them.
  • Thoroughly understand existing and prospective client needs, ensuring seamless alignment between their requirements and our product offerings. Cultivate strong, mutually beneficial long-term relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service.
  • Personally visit clients to discuss products and services, adeptly demonstrating how our offerings fulfil their specific needs.
  • Negotiate and finalize deals, diligently seeking agreements that yield mutual benefits.
  • Foster client loyalty and drive repeat business by consistently delivering on commitments and surpassing expectations.
  • Monitor market and competitor activities, providing valuable feedback to internal teams to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Provide timely and detailed sales reports, as well as sales forecasting data, to the management team.
  • Systematically collect and maintain an extensive customer database, collating information and data related to client and prospect interactions.
