Position Overview: The role would involve shaping the success of product categories within Nature’s Basket. Your responsibilities span strategic planning, vendor management, and ensuring the availability of in-demand products. Responsibilities: Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends. Devise long-term development strategies for product categories. Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products. Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services. Place appropriate orders to ensure product availability that meets consumer demands. Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility. Liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category. Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories. WE’RE HIRING FOR: ASSISTANT MANAGER - CATEGORY Responsibilities: Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory. Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for the category. Margin discussions with vendors. Qualifications & Skill Requirements: MBA (Full Time) from a premier institute. Previous experience in category management of 6+ Years. Strong knowledge of category management, marketing, and sales principles. Ability to analyze and develop accurate conclusions to support category decisions based on key data. An understanding of the market and consumer insights and trends. Strong people management and persuasion skills to manage and influence at all levels of the company. An analytical mind with strategic ability. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in MS Office. Good understanding of numeracy.
