Job Description for Social Media & Marketing Associate

Roles & Responsibilities: 

● Conduct market research to identify target audiences and develop marketing strategies 

● Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, Instagram Ads, etc. 

● Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars for social media platforms

 ● Create and distribute engaging content such as blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases

 ● Explore and facilitate collaborations and partnerships with industry cohorts.

 ● Conceptualize and implement marketing campaigns across all forms: organic, paid, collabs, etc.

 ● Conduct SWOT analysis of the company's current digital marketing and advise a strong plan to overcome the shortcomings. 

● Research social media trends and inform management of changes that are relevant to the company's marketing activities. 

● Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability

 ● Support marketing/PR team at live and online events Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in digital communications or a related field such as Digital and Social Media Marketing, MBA in Digital Marketing, Business Development and Outreach.

 Required Skills: 

● Experience in market research and analysis, deriving actionable outcomes, defining the audience

 ● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 

● Creativity in concept creation, campaigns, and visual & textual content 

● Basic graphic design expertise 

● Should have knowledge of Adobe Suite & Canva. 

● Ability to think out of the box and put their vision across 

● Experience with the latest marketing tools and techniques
