Please find the JD- Roles & Responsibilities for an Electrical Engineer Key Responsibilities:  Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems including motors, panels, VFDs, PLCs, and lighting.  Troubleshoot electrical faults in production equipment like tempering machines, moulding lines, cooling tunnels, etc.  Monitor and maintain energy usage to ensure optimal power consumption.  Ensure electrical systems comply with safety regulations and plant standards.  Coordinate with production and utility teams to minimize downtime.  Maintain documentation of electrical maintenance activities and update checklists, SOPs, and AMC records.  Support installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and automation upgrades.  Liaise with contractors and suppliers for electrical spares and services. Required Skills & Qualifications:  Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.  3-5 years of experience in FMCG, food processing, or manufacturing industry preferred.  Good understanding of PLC systems, VFDs, and electrical safety.  Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.  Willingness to work in shifts and during plant shutdowns as needed.
