Job Title: Computer Science Faculty – Full-Time

We’re looking for forward-thinking Computer Science faculty who are passionate about teaching and shaping the next generation of technologists. As a core member of the academic team at Mirai, you won’t just teach—you’ll mentor, inspire, and co-create with students in a high-energy, innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

● Curriculum Delivery: Teach undergraduate-level computer science courses such as Programming, Data Structures & Algorithms, Operating Systems, Databases, Computer Networks, Machine Learning, and System Design. 

● Mentorship: Guide students through individual and group projects, providing mentorship and technical feedback. 

● Content Development: Collaborate with academic leads to design and refine curriculum content, lab exercises, and assessments. 

● Innovation in Teaching: Employ modern pedagogical methods and tools to enhance the learning experience (e.g., flipped classroom, code reviews, online tools). 

● Student Evaluation: Conduct evaluations, assign grades, and provide meaningful feedback to students.

 ● Community Engagement: Contribute to the academic community by organizing tech talks, code labs, workshops, and hackathons.

Required Qualifications

● Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Ph.D. is a plus). 

● Strong grasp of core CS subjects and the ability to explain complex concepts with clarity 

● Demonstrated experience in software development or teaching is a plus

 ● Excellent communication skills and a student-first mindset

 ● Familiarity with Git, Linux, and modern programming languages (C++, Python, JavaScript, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications 

● Prior experience in teaching or mentoring students at the undergraduate level 

● Contributions to open-source projects or industry experience 

● Experience with teaching platforms and tools (e.g., GitHub Classroom, Leet Code, Codechef, Hacker earth, Hacker rank)
