Engineering & Maintenance Core Responsibilities: 1. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Planning o Develop and implement comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all mechanical and electrical equipment to reduce downtime and ensure smooth operations. 2. Breakdown Analysis & Troubleshooting o Lead root cause analysis for recurring mechanical/electrical failures and ensure timely troubleshooting to minimize production interruptions. 3. Utilities Management o Oversee the functioning and maintenance of utility systems including compressors, boilers, chillers, generators, HVAC, and electrical panels. 4. Project Management & Asset Installation o Manage installation, commissioning, and modification of new machinery/equipment or production lines in collaboration with OEMs and vendors. 5. Energy Management o Monitor and optimize energy consumption across the plant. Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives. 6. Spare Parts & Inventory Control o Ensure availability and inventory control of critical spares and consumables. Build effective relationships with vendors for timely procurement. 7. Team Leadership & Skill Development o Lead and guide a team of junior engineers and technicians. Organize regular training and skill enhancement sessions. 8. Safety, Compliance & Documentation o Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety norms, legal regulations (like factory act, electrical safety), and GMP/GHP requirements. Maintain thorough documentation for audits (FSSC, ISO, etc.). 9. Cross-functional Collaboration o Work closely with Production, Quality, and Projects teams to align maintenance strategies with production goals. 10.Maintenance KPIs & Continuous Improvement  Track KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability, and maintenance costs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives like TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and root cause analysis. ✅Preferred Background:  Experience: 8–10 years in FMCG, food, dairy, pharma, or process industries.  Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.  Skills: SAP PM module, AutoCAD (basic), Condition Monitoring Tools, Knowledge of PLCs/VFDs. https://www.lotuschocolate.com/
