Work Shift: 12 Hours (8 Hours Salary + 4 Hours Over Time)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QC Chemist with a background in packaging materials inspection and testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all packaging components and finished goods meet internal and external quality standards, with a strong focus on incoming material checks, process quality monitoring, and final product evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

Incoming Material Inspection:

Inspect and verify quality of packaging materials such as corrugated boxes, tins, printed labels, foils, and containers upon receipt.

Packaging Material Testing & Documentation:

Conduct routine and non-routine testing of packaging components; prepare detailed reports including specifications, test results, and non-conformities.

In-Process Quality Checks:

Perform on-line inspection during production to ensure adherence to packaging standards and product integrity.

Final Product Inspection:

Conduct sampling and final inspection of finished packaged goods prior to dispatch, ensuring conformity to regulatory and internal quality requirements.

Compliance & Standards Maintenance:

Ensure compliance with company SOPs, GMP, and other quality standards relevant to the packaging industry.

Report Generation & Record Maintenance:

Maintain accurate quality records, inspection logs, deviation reports, and testing data.

Other Responsibilities:

Handle additional quality control activities as assigned by the QA/QC manager quality audits and packaging development support.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of packaging materials and specifications

Familiarity with basic testing methods (e.g., burst strength, GSM, drop test, visual inspection)

Good documentation and reporting skills

Knowledge of ISO/GMP/quality standards in packaging preferred

Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment
