A "Rajlaxmi Logistics Operations Manager" is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Rajlaxmi Logistics, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods from storage to delivery, including managing warehouse operations, transportation logistics, staff scheduling, and maintaining customer service standards, while adhering to company policies and regulatory compliance; essentially ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while optimizing logistics processes across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Management:

• Supervise warehouse staff, including receiving, storing, and picking/packing of goods.

• Optimize warehouse space utilization and inventory control systems.

• Monitor stock levels and manage stock rotation to prevent expiry issues.

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures within the warehouse.

• Transportation Logistics:

• Plan and coordinate transportation schedules with carriers, including route optimization and load planning.

• Monitor shipment tracking and address any delivery delays.

• Negotiate freight rates with carriers to ensure cost-effective transportation.

• Manage vehicle maintenance and compliance with transportation regulations

• Customer Service:

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status and delivery issues.

• Manage customer complaints and resolve issues promptly

• Build strong relationships with key customers and maintain high customer satisfaction levels

• Performance Management:

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like delivery times, costs per shipment, and warehouse efficiency.

• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement process optimization strategies

• Set performance goals for warehouse staff and monitor progress

•

• Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate the warehouse team, including staff scheduling and performance evaluations

• Provide training and development opportunities for warehouse staff

• Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field

• Proven experience in logistics operations management, preferably in a warehouse environment

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to identify trends and make informed decisions

• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders

• Leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards related to logistics operations
