Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer – Pressure Vessels to join our engineering team at Finepac Structures Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and developing pressure vessels in compliance with industry codes and safety regulations. The role involves mechanical calculations, material selection, and the preparation of detailed fabrication drawings to ensure accuracy and safety in equipment design. Key Responsibilities  Perform detailed mechanical calculations for pressure vessel design, including loads, stresses, and forces.  Design vessels, including material selection, estimation of dimensions, wall thickness, flanges, connections, and support structures.  Ensure compliance with ASME, IS, and other international codes and standards.  Prepare and review engineering drawings, design documents, and technical specifications.  Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and fabrication teams to ensure timely and accurate project execution.  Conduct testing and analysis to verify designs and ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.  Utilize design and analysis software tools for pressure vessel engineering.  Provide technical support during fabrication, inspection, and installation phases. Required Skills & Competencies  Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, physics, and mathematics.  Hands-on expertise in pressure vessel design codes (ASME Sec VIII, IS, TEMA, etc.).  Proficiency in design and analysis software (e.g., PV Elite, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS, or similar).  Ability to perform stress analysis, material strength calculations, and safety checks.  Knowledge of industry safety regulations and fabrication processes.  Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
