Job Description:

SecureNow Insurance Broker Pvt. Ltd. (“SecureNow”) is an insurance broker focused
on selling commercial insurances to MSMEs. It was co-founded by Abhishek Bondia
and Kapil Mehta in 2011 and has fast become the go-to site for small businesses
buying insurance. It is the one-stop provider for MSMEs for all their insurance
requirements. This means that the company sells commercial products including
group health insurance, property, marine and liability covers. It also handles claims
and insurance services on behalf of clients.
SecureNow, an insurance broker, has built an insurtech platform where MSMEs can
transact in commercial insurances. The company sells a wide range of commercial
insurances such as group health insurance, property and liability covers. It handles
claims and all insurance related services, such as endorsements, for its clients.
Small businesses bravely face material risk every day. Some of these risks can wipe out
complete businesses. As such MSMEs need insurance most but struggle for good terms
and services because they do not have market leverage. On SecureNow’s platform
MSMEs can buy best-in-class insurances in a friction less way. These insurances provide
much needed financial security and contribute to the businesses’ self-reliance. We have
also, over the years, successfully handled thousands of claims for MSMEs.
SecureNow has raised US$ 6 million from Elevar, Apis and Charan Singh, founder of
SelectQuote Inc. Our investors have deep knowledge of insurance and insurtech and are
extremely selective in making investments. The funds raised will be invested into
technology, deepening MSME networks and marketing.
MANAGEMENT TEAM
A brief background of the founding team, both of whom are distinguished professionals
with Insuranceand Advisory backgrounds, is given below.

 Kapil Mehta – Kapil is the co-founder of SecureNow. Kapil writes regularly in
the media, specifically on matters that impact policyholders. He is a
policyholder representative on the Policyholder Protection Board Subcommittee
of a life insurer and on the SME advisory board of a leading general insurer. He
is active in several industry associations and a Charter Member of TiE. Kapil was
formerly the managing director of Prudential Financial’s life insurance company
in India and a long-standing director of the Insurance Broking Association of
India (IBAI). Still earlier, he has worked with Max New York Life, McKinsey &
Company and Unilever. Kapil has studied at IIM Ahmedabad and IIT Delhi.
Kapil’s book on insurance, Happily Insured, was published in October 2022.
 Abhishek Bondia –Abhishek has over 15 years of experience in consulting and
insurance. He is the co-founder of SecureNow Insurance Broker Pvt. Ltd. Prior to
setting up SecureNow, Abhishek worked at McKinsey & Company. Here he had
setup a Research & Analytics practice focused on hospitals, health systems,
health insurers and pharmaceutical clients. He also served financial services

Job Description
Job Title: A.M./ Manager/Sr. Department: Fresh Sales

SUMMARY OF THE JOB:
This position is for the direct(fresh) sales role. This is a key role for the company as this
team is charged with getting new clients to SecureNow. Fresh team sales persons may
focus on select industry segments or products or may have a geographic focus. The
person will have deep knowledge of commercial insurances such as employee benefit,
property and liability insurances. The person has the primary responsibility of building and
maintaining a relationship with clients. Once a new client is acquired, the person has to
support the transition, over a one year period, to the retention team.
