Major Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Candidate should have experience in  Injection Moulding.

·        He can assemble or dissemble mould.

 

Injection molding is a process that uses pressure to force molten plastic into a mold cavity. The resulting part is then cooled and removed from the mold. Injection molding is used in many industries, including automotive, aerospace, medical equipment, packaging, toys, etc.

Injection mold operators are responsible for operating the machinery that performs this process. This includes monitoring the equipment’s performance and making adjustments as necessary to ensure it runs smoothly. They may also be responsible for loading raw materials into the machine, removing finished parts from it, and performing other tasks related to its operation.

 

 

Injection Mold Operator Job Duties –

 

Injection mold operators have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

 

Following safety procedures to protect themselves and coworkers from injury or exposure to harmful chemicals

Inspecting molds for damage and defects and repairing them as needed

Reading blueprints and other instructions to determine the correct settings for a mold machine

Monitoring gauges on machinery to ensure that it is operating within normal parameters

Operating machines that inject plastic or other materials into molds to form products such as automobile parts or household goods such as dishes and television remote controls

Monitoring equipment to ensure that it is operating properly and has sufficient supplies of raw materials and coolant

Installing molds in automated machines and operating robotic arms to perform tasks such as mixing or spraying materials

Inspecting molds and equipment for defects, repairing them as needed, and maintaining records of all work performed

Preparing molds for use by cleaning them, inspecting them for cracks or defects, and applying release agents to help the material release from the mold easily.
