Job Overview We are looking for a reliable logistics manager to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. Logistics manager responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods. Responsibilities and Duties  Required to handle technical details relating to possibly international transportation, such as customs regulations and any necessary documentation.  Efficiently evaluate the costs of transportation, services, and inventory within any budget or distribution strategy.  Must have a knowledge of national and international import/export legislation and must be able to effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise in international freight transportation.  Build relationships with logistics mediators and work closely with package engineers to ensure the protection of freight in transportation.  Documentation and organization are important – any changes to operating procedures, prioritization or any problems must be documented and communicated accurately.  Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.  Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce. Qualifications  Graduate/Post Graduate Experience Key skills  A logical and systematic approach to work.  Good time management ability.  The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions.  Commercial awareness and numeracy skills.  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a part of the team as well as manage people.
