Job Description:

  1. Operate fryers according to established procedures and guidelines.
  2. Set up and adjust fryer equipment for optimal performance.
  3. Monitor temperature, pressure, and other variables to ensure consistent product quality.
  4. Load and unload food products into fryer baskets or conveyors.
  5. Monitor cooking times and adjust settings as necessary to achieve desired results.
  6. Conduct regular checks on oil levels, filtration systems, and other equipment components.
  7. Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  8. Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  9. Keep work area clean and organized, including removing waste and disposing of used oil properly.
  10. Document production data, including batch records, downtime, and any quality issues.
  11. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production flow.
  12. Follow company policies and procedures, including food safety regulations and quality standards.
  13. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to address any concerns or issues promptly.
  14. Participate in training programs to improve skills and knowledge of fryer operations.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Previous experience operating fryers or similar food processing equipment preferred.
  3. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  4. Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  6. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  7. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects.
  8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  9. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
