Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and assembly of a variety of dim sum dishes, including dumplings, buns, and rolls.
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation.
• Work closely with senior kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate execution of dim sum orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dim sum station, including equipment and work areas.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of ingredients and hygiene practices.
• Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering of dim sum ingredients.
• Learn and apply proper techniques for shaping, filling, and cooking dim sum items.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably with exposure to dim sum preparation.
• Basic knowledge of Chinese cuisine and dim sum cooking techniques is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
