Qualifications/Competencies:

• B.S./M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience in Java.
• Extensive experience (5+ years) with Open-Source tools such as Spring, Hibernate, Apache Maven, JUnit, etc.
• 4+ years of experience in relational database development, including SQL, stored procedures, and data modeling. Sybase experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment with enthusiasm and flexibility.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular, React, Node.js, and Typescript.
• Familiarity with at least one NoSQL Database (e.g., Apache Cassandra) and one scripting language (Perl/Python).
• Exposure to cloud-native development using Kubernetes, Docker, and open-source publish-subscribe frameworks like Apache Kafka.
• Contributions to open-source projects or communities showcasing versatility and innovation.
• Any additional certifications or training in emerging technologies relevant to the role.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and frameworks in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through past projects or challenges tackled.
