ROLE SUMMARY:
As a Territory Sales Officer, you will be responsible for managing and expanding sales in your assigned
territory. You will work closely with retailers, distributors, and other key stakeholders to achieve sales
targets and strengthen our market presence.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Sales Target Achievement: Achieve and exceed sales targets for the assigned territory through
effective sales strategies and relationship building.
2. Territory Management: Develop and implement territory-specific sales plans and strategies to
maximize market coverage and product placement.
3. Retailer and Distributor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and
distributors to ensure product availability and visibility.
4. Product Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our FMCG products to assist retailers and
address customer inquiries effectively.
5. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify
opportunities and threats.
6. Inventory Management: Ensure proper stock levels with distributors and retailers, minimizing
stockouts and excess inventory.
7. Promotions and Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities
and marketing campaigns at the local level.
8. Reporting: Provide regular sales reports, including market insights and sales data analysis.
9. Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities and practices adhere to company policies and industry
regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
● Proven experience of 1-2 years in sales, preferably in the FMCG sector, with a track record of
achieving or exceeding sales targets.
● Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
● Analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Proficiency in using sales and reporting tools.
● Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
