Job Description:

Looking for Chartered Accountant Exp- 3-4 years of experience, not necessarily from a CA firm Company Payroll: Creative Newtech Location: Kandivali, Mumbai Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and qualified Chartered Accountant to join our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in an industry setting. The role involves managing various accounting and financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and providing financial advisory services to the organization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Reporting and Accounting: - Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. - Manage the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes, ensuring proper recording and reconciliation. - Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments. - Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management and stakeholders. 2. Taxation and Compliance: - Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements. - Prepare and file tax returns (income tax, GST, etc.) within stipulated timelines. - Manage tax audits and address any queries or discrepancies. - Stay updated with changes in tax laws and accounting standards, and advise the organization accordingly. 3. Budgeting and Forecasting: - Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for the organization. - Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted figures, and provide insights and recommendations. - Support in developing and implementing effective cost control measures. 4. Internal Controls and Processes: - Evaluate and enhance existing internal control systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. - Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies. - Coordinate with internal and external auditors during auditing processes. 5. Financial Analysis and Advisory: - Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. - Evaluate potential business opportunities, investments, or collaborations from a financial perspective. - Assist in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and cost-benefit analysis for various projects or initiatives. Qualifications and Requirements: - Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from a recognized institute. - 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, and taxation. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and taxation laws. - Experience in an industry setting is preferred, but not mandatory (CA firm experience is not required). - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance personnel. - Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
