Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing and Vendor Management:
• Identify potential suppliers and vendors based on quality, price, and delivery
capabilities.
• Evaluate and select vendors through competitive bidding and negotiation
processes.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage vendor performance.
2. Purchase Order Processing:
• Generate purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to confirm purchase requirements and
specifications.

3. Price Negotiation and Cost Management:
• Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Monitor market trends and conduct price analysis to identify opportunities for cost
reduction.
• Review and approve invoices and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
4. Inventory Management:
• Monitor inventory levels and track stock movements.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt and delivery of
goods.

• Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
5. Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that purchased products and materials meet quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to resolve quality issues with suppliers.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions, contracts, and agreements.
• Prepare and analyze procurement reports to track spending and performance metrics.
• Assist in the development of procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines.
7. Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement
activities.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks, such as supply chain disruptions and supplier
failures.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement.
