Job Description:

POSITION - Sr Engineer/Engineer/GM NPD 
 
Location: Narasapur / Hosur (Bangalore) 
 
 
Qualification - BE / DME 
Experience - More than 3 years 
 
 
 
 
 
Candidate should have hands on experience & good knowledge of the following: 
 
NPD process APQP 
2d & 3d software  
2d assy., child parts Drawings, dimensions & tolerance. 
RM grades & application for sheet metal & tubular parts. 
Welding processes Mig, Tig, spot, projection & seam welding etc. 
Welding SPM & robotic welding process. 
Conversant with Press operations & tools, tube bending & metering operations etc. 
Gauge checking & welding fixture concepts etc. 
Surface treatments Powder coating, plating, shot blasting, hr. painting. 
Material handling  
PPAP 
Candidate Preferably from 2 W & 3 W industries 
 
Responsibilities 
 
   To Understand & Develop of New Product Development Part Activity. 
   To understand & develop the potentialities of each man & allocate work to each as per 
his ability. 
To ensure that all dept activities are as per specifically work, procedure, norms, 
standards & IATF 16949, OHSAS & EMS 
To ensure & verify that 5 ‘S’, TPM & KAIZEN of dept. 
To take appropriate safety precautions for Man, M/c & equipment.  
Ensure that the departmental objectives are met.  
Ensure documentation as per all QMS, EMS & OHSAS   
Ensure New Product development part, feasibility study, Time Plan, MCP, Tooled up 
plan, DAP, Process Plan, Line Readiness, Wire cut, Supplier evaluation, 
Co-ordinate with Customer during Change & Ensure that the changes are implemented, 
taking into consideration safety norms. 
Ensuring the processes deliver their intended results.  
Reporting on the performance of QMS, Departmental Objectives & Opportunities for 
improvements to the top management. 
Ensuring the promotion Customer Focus throughout the Organization.  
Providing resources for development, maintenance & improvement of processes 
To give training to staffs 
Co-ordinate with customers for development activities.  
   Ensuring Customer developments timeline as per plan, zero defect product, First time 
right.
